The re-entry trap on wardrobes

A sliding or hinged wardrobe often changes late: bay count, loft, shutter style, or overall width. If the cutlist is a separate Excel file, every change becomes a second data entry — and a third when nesting starts.

Steps that keep sizes on one module

  1. Create a client and project in your FMOS workspace.
  2. Add a wardrobe from the template gallery (or a structured custom unit).
  3. Set overall size, internals, materials, and finishes in millimetres.
  4. Validate against workspace manufacturing rules; clear blockers.
  5. Generate panels and the cutlist from that furniture — print or download CSV.

Sample cutlist (anonymized)

Download a public sample wardrobe cutlist CSV with millimetre panel sizes. It is illustrative only — not a live customer job.

In the product, the live cutlist comes from the manufacturing package for your configured wardrobe. Hardware lines and edge banding metres follow that same package — you do not invent a second sheet for panels.

Frequently asked questions

Can FMOS create a wardrobe cutlist for interior designers?

Yes. Configure a wardrobe template or structured unit, validate it, generate the manufacturing package, then review, print, or download the cutlist as CSV.

Do I still need Excel?

You do not need to re-enter sizes. You can still download CSV if the shop prefers a spreadsheet print habit.
