Why cutlists break when they leave the drawing
In many India workshops, a designer sizes a wardrobe or kitchen module in one tool, then someone re-enters panels in Excel for the saw. Every re-entry is a chance to change a millimetre, miss an edge, or quote the wrong board. FMOS keeps configuration, validation, and the cutlist on one furniture record so the cut sizes are the sizes you designed.
How a cutlist is produced in FMOS
- Project — Keep the client and the job together.
- Configure — Start from a template or a structured custom unit. Set size, internals, materials, and finishes.
- Validate — Check the module against workspace manufacturing rules (joinery, gaps, shelf span) and clear blocking issues before release.
- Cutlist — Generate panels and a cutlist from that furniture. Print it or download CSV.
Front, internal, plan, and section views are generated from the configured module. Dimensions on the drawing are the dimensions used for the cutlist.
What the cutlist includes
Released manufacturing packages produce panel cut sizes with thickness, quantity, and material. Edges and hardware lines that belong on the package (for example hanging rods or tracks on a sliding wardrobe) can appear on the full printable or CSV list. The homepage shows a working wardrobe example at 2400 × 2100 × 600 mm so you can see the same path end to end.
Wardrobe cutlists for interior designers
Interior designers often send a wardrobe layout to the factory and wait for someone to rebuild panels in Excel. With FMOS, the designer (or firm) configures the wardrobe template — for example a sliding 3-leaf at project sizes — reviews it in 2D and 3D, and the factory releases the manufacturing package from that same module. Cut sizes are not re-typed from a PDF markup.

Who this is for
Independent interior designers, design firms, modular furniture manufacturers, and kitchen and wardrobe businesses. Each registration creates an isolated workspace. Roles decide who can design, validate, and release manufacturing output.
Frequently asked questions
Does FMOS generate furniture cutlists?

Do I re-enter sizes for the cutlist?
No. Panels and cut sizes come from the same furniture record you configured.
